Tatterson Park in Keysborough provides state-of-the-art sport and recreation facilities for local residents of the City of Greater Dandenong and surrounding areas.  The idea to construct a new multi-purpose community Pavilion was developed to help build better sport and recreation facilities and bring more members into local sporting clubs.

The new Sports and Community Pavilion constructed by Ireland Brown Constructions features an undercover grandstand area with a 500-seat capacity; eight change rooms; a function room with a capacity of approximately 120 people seated or 200 cocktail style; a dance floor; board rooms; and a commercial kitchen.

Externally the project included the construction of a carpark, spectator viewing mound, wetlands, landscaping and feature paving.
